1. Do not microwave your buddy bean any longer than 60 seconds for each use and only reheat it from room temperature.
2. Place your buddy bean in a microwave. Depending on your preference and the wattage, microwave it for 30 - 60 seconds. (30 seconds for 800 - 1000W, 60 seconds for 500 - 750W)
3. If your buddy bean does not feel warm enough after heating for 60 seconds, you can heat it again in 15-second increments until it reaches the desired temperature. Be sure to heat it carefully and monitor closely.
4. To prevent overheating or burning, place a small cup of water in the microwave along with your buddy bean. This helps maintain moisture and protects the fabric and filling during heating.
5. Moisture during heating is normal due to humidity absorbed by the fabric or stone tourmaline beads. This moisture helps prevent burning and ensures even heating.
6. Place it on the affected area for as long as needed or until it returns to room temperature.

For optimal care, remove the internal filling pouch when cleaning the exterior. For the exterior, spot clean and hand wash OR machine wash with cold water on a delicate cycle, then air dry.
